Happy Birthday. As another person that got their wisdom teeth removed, I must say: get used to soft food for a little while as the recovery process happens, and then ease back in to more solid food a bit at a time. It's kind of like with exercising, in the way that you don't want to immediately (for example) run a marathon after spending a bunch of time not running. The concept is the same for the jaw muscles as it is with any other muscles.
