I'm not one to do journals but, I just couldn't stop myself I had to do at least this one thing.


After watching him struggle to even stand anymore yesterday morning and all day, could barely drink without help and wouldn't eat unless I gave him food by hand. My friend, my puppy I raised since he was 6 months old is finally able to rest. Today I brought him to the vet and had him put to sleep. May he rest in peace, my life will never be the same without him. The dog that's been there for more than half my life, been with me through every heart breaking major event, been with me through all the great joyous times, even saved our lives from a fire by waking everyone up at 2am. I will truly miss you my puppy, I'd probably never of made it through those dark times without him. My you finally rest without pain and can finally run again through the heavens to play with all the others that have gone before and after you. Joey, I already miss you...I'll always miss you.
