Delaying next commission batch, also delaying price rise....

Hey folks!
Just wanted to let y'all know that while I had planned on opening up for one more batch of FA commissions at the end of this month prior to my story prices going up in May, I've looked at my schedule for next month and I feel as though if I opened for those extra commissions as planned I'd be running myself a bit ragged given several other (non-work related) plans I already have laid out. That would either lead to a very exhausted bunny or people potentially getting less than my best work if I try to rush things to fit into a 'normal' schedule, neither of which are things I want to have happen.
So, I'm going to hold off on taking that final pre-price-rise commission batch for the time being. With that being said though, I really don't like the idea of raising my prices without giving folks who were expecting one last opportunity to buy stories at my current prices the chance to do so. Thus, I'm gonna delay my price rise until after I open for my next full batch of FA commissions, whenever that may be.
TL;DR - I won't be opening for story commissions at the end of this month, apologies, but I also won't be raising my prices as planned until after the next time I open for a full commission batch here on FA. :)

I'll be sure to let folks know if and when I have spots available, and I certainly will later on in the year. Beyond being busy with several things in May it's also that when the weather starts to get warmer my office has a tendency to become uninhabitable for a part of the day due to the heat, and unlike prior years where I've just tried to work through it in discomfort, this year I'm being a bit more sensible and just working within the limitations that the season allows. Of course if we have a super rainy/dull summer, I'll have more time, but better to plan for the lower output scenario and have space to open for extras than to fill my commission queue to capacity then struggle to fulfil it. :)

I get you there - it can be difficult to concentrate when it starts getting hotter in Summer. Always a good idea to work within your own limits and be sensible, especially when circumstances make it difficult to concentrate. :)
