Today was meant to be a simple one. Just give my two Guinea pigs' cage its weekly cleaning. But my sister noticed something about one of them. Cali wasn't acting like her normal self.

After getting her checked out at a nearby vet, I actually had to have Cali put down.

So now it's me and Koko here.

I was told that normally Guinea pigs don't live long, about 2-3 years. So given that my Guinea pigs are both about 6-7 this year would make them quite old indeed.

I'll miss her dearly.
