Comic vs Pin-up

General
Mostly just idle wondering, which kind of content is more engaging. Comics, whether short one-shot stories, gag-a-day deals, or larger overarching plots. Or Pin-ups, sexy pictures without a clear narrative. Though I suppose a story could be told through a series of pin-ups easily enough. Plenty of examples lurking on this very site.
But my mind wanders towards the opportunity cost, of sorts. How much comic could be drawn in the time it takes to do one Pin-up? What are the results of those, and which is better to snare attention and stroke imaginations? Lately I've been leaning towards comics being the better vehicle, but that very well may be a result of 'grass is always greener' kind of thinking. I know my own work has plenty of room for improvement in every measure.
Just rambling. Feel free to share your own thoughts.

Have you ever timed yourself to drawing a pin-up and then a comic?
I have been trying to get back into comics myself for some time, yet keeping a schedule for posting can be tricky if not planning ahead.
Your work is very detailed and I can see you making short 12 page comics, but it depends if you are going for payment or just posting for fun.
As for pin ups, I would go out of your comfort zone and work on new poses for different types of characters.
Maybe work on comic covers to see how those turn out?
