Yesterday was my birthday, and I had an absolute blast. Spent half the day with family in person, the rest online with friends - and all throughout got to eat so much good food, including more snacks and desserts than usual.

I used that day to share that I now identify as grey-ace, with an upload of a simply perfect commission drawn by ArtieNuki: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/51966161/ To quickly summarize what that sexuality means, I think of a scale of measurement between asexuality (complete or near-total lack of sexual drive/desire) and a 'typical' sexual drive, or libido. Grey-ace falls somewhere in the middle of the two scale ends. While I do dream of one day having a serious, intimate romantic partner, I am not driven on a daily basis to find that for myself, plus I find that I'm uncomfortable viewing most explicit sexual artworks. My orientation may change one day (which somewhat scares me; I prefer having a solid foundation in identity and knowing who I am), but grey-ace feels just right for me today.
