Where I've been and Where I'm Going

Needless to say, 2022 was unkind to me in a few respects. Not the least of which being I lost two close family members, my grandfather at the beginning in January and my aunt at the tail-end in November. The latter loss, while being the more Jarring, was also one that affected us the most in terms of our living situation too, as since the house was actually in my aunt's name, we are now in the process of selling it/packing/moving/etc.
While shocked at first, I'm actually glad we're moving in the end, I grew up in this house and I love it immensely, and it's been in my family for a very long time, but some of the drawbacks were, it was the defacto Meeting place for most big family events-and so it was a little oppressive/didn't exactly feel like 'Our' house most of the time. Plus the cost of living in California is INCREDIBLY high...
However, as expected, packing an ENTIRE life-time's worth of personal belongings is a bit daunting, and that mainly includes myself, my father, my younger brother, and my younger sister's things-though with my sister, she hasn't lived with us since last year, so we actually are mostly just having her try and take her stuff and store it somewhere else. There's also been the task of getting rid of furniture we don't have the room for/can't take, and so on, and also trying to get the house ready for viewings of potential buyers. Needless to say, it's taken up a lot of my time, and when I do have free time it's been mostly spent being uh, less than productive (*cough* video games *cough*) to relieve stress.
Now, as for where I'm going-? That's the OTHER part of this whole Thing that's turning out to be a bit of an Ordeal in itself-for one thing, my dad's decided we'll be moving to Arizona. Keep in mind, I've never lived anywhere but California my entire life (unless you count when I was a baby/VERY young child and lived in Germany VERY briefly and then Oklahoma when my brother was born). The thing is however, we don't have the money JUST yet to buy a place to live until AFTER we sell the house-but we can't LIVE in this house while it's being sold. So in probably the next month or so, we'll be taking what little we have that isn't going to storage, and living with my older half brother and his family. Who also live in Arizona.
So yeah that's basically been the BULK of what's been keeping me occupied/stressed/busy/etc. But that's life, it always knows how to send you curveballs...
