Thinking of changing character names
So, I've been thinking...Debudebiru isn't proper Japanese. Miyu isn't a Japanese soul. She's a weeb. But...Debudebiru sounds like a title.
Know what sounds like a name? Kuromi. Miyu Kuromi. Beautiful night, black beauty.
So she'd be "Miyu, Debudebiru" or "Miyu Kuromi, Debudebiru"
The problem is, if I do that, Alice loses her last name. This is fine; Alice is an English and Germanic name.
Some thoughts:
-Kara Malice. Loses the Wonderland theme. Kara is Greek for Pure. It's also the Japanese word for void (the element). Malice is Latin.
-Alice Liddell. Means "Noble of the valley". Based on American McGee's Alice.
-Alice Gluttony. Despite being on the nose, Gluttony has been a last name in the past.
-Alice Malice. Not really an option, it's just kinda fun to say. I actually had a version of Alice where she has a demoness possessing her called Malice. Not sure that'll ever see canon, but still...
