Super Wonderful News!

General
Since May 5th (12 days ago), I've had a:
change in weight: -3.4 lbs
change in body fat percent: -3.5% (via the US Navy's formula--most accurate you can get without laboratory grade stuff, like a DEXA scan)
change in body fat mass: -8.36 lbs
change in lean mass: +4.96 lbs
With body fat at 4280 Calories/lb*
And lean mass at 821 Calories/lb*
This puts me in an average daily Caloric deficit of 2642 Calories.
Note that these weight & body fat % figures are subject to experimental error, but I'd say likely damn near close, even if it does look like a tad much, it wouldn't surprise me. More data over a long period of time is needed, and totally desirable. ;3

Dayam! I'm doing very good! w00t! X3
"Your body is not the enemy. It is a miraculous survival machine that adapts to the stress you impose on it. When you understand it, you can control it."—Menno Henselmans, on the subject of losing fat & gaining muscle.
**UPDATE**: According to the reports on Cronometer, It's probably closer to a daily energy expenditure of ~3,000 Calories, with an average energy intake of ~1,500 Calories, for a ~1,500 Calorie/day deficit average; for a 50% average daily Caloric energy deficit; which is still very high.
Not saying the above is wrong/hype/etc, but depending on how much muscle I built, it would likely be between those two values.
Given how much variance there is between waist measurements (the main determinant of my body fat percentage).
Either way, progress is still progress. ^.^
Update to calculations:
Over two weeks, I lost ~3 lbs, taking water weight, etc into account.
For a total Caloric deficit for that entire period was 20,566 Calories.
Even if I lost all fat and gained zero muscle, that would put me at...*spends the next 20 minutes doing linear algebra by hand on paper, using a pen cuz he's a badass like that >;3c)
Okay,
Updated figures, based on the newer information, that puts me at:
change in body fat mass: -5.23 lbs
change in lean mass: +2.23 lbs
That said, it's important to note that, Cronometer, at least as far as I know, doesn't take into account the energy required to build a pound of muscle (~2500 Calories), so I'd say the figures are anywhere from the former, to the latter. @_@
*flops*
Of course someone like me would be doing algebra for fits and shiggles...while sleep deprived, going through light caffeine withdraw, and on the second day of a two day fast. @_@ *flops*
**UPDATE 2**: As of this morning (Saturday, May 20th, 2023), I'm down to 201.2 lbs.
So I've lost 26 lbs in just under 9 weeks. X3 For an average of just shy of 3 lbs lost per week since I started.
**UPDATE 3** Today (5/20; happy footpawb day btw! X3) was a very productive day! Between a 6+ mile walk, general activity, & my squats; my Fitbit & Cronometer have recorded that I've burned over 6,000 Calories today! Compared to a comatose/sleeping/super sedentary maintenance of ~1850 Calories a day. Here's the real world (and laboratory...labbeh/'triever? XP) data giving the middle finger to every anti-exercise liar saying that, "oh, it only burns, maybe an extra 100-200 or so Calories a day. It's the diet that matters most." Who ya' gonna believe? Them, or your own eyes (and published research, available data via Fitbit/Cronometer, and on, and on)?
