It had already been said that this policy-change affects just infantile Pokemon and Digimon, but now it's super-extra-ultra clear to everyone that that is the case.

I mean, Dragoneer himself has an Eevee character that he draws all the time. It's not like un-evolved Pokemon are all banned.

It's just a rule change to stop people from posting cub/young porn to FA. The rule already existed for non-Pokemon animals, and now it's just been clarified to also apply to Pokemon and Digimon in the same way it applies to all other animals. You can't draw a child and then say it's actually 1,000 years old to circumvent the Upload Policy.

I mean, that makes sense, but the problem still lies with how vague "child-like" is for this new policy. For all we know, it is just first and second evolution pokemon. Like when does Pikachu become too much like a child?

I can understand the worry about vagueness in enforcement. That is a far more reasonable take than "The Pokemon artists are gonna get purged!"

Yeah, I don't know. I'd still rather not take any chances and just leave. You could be right, though, and this policy update may not be as bad as people are throwing it out to be, but I'd rather not risk it.

I'm for one thankful that updates to rules are done to close loop holes. What some people may forget there people outside of FA that may not understand us in here at all. But they have the ability to lawsuit, and they will if they get their opperunity. I belive that majorly what is attempted to be prevented here with the rules update.

"childlike body proportions" is still rather vague to it's meaning. I mean nothing you can do when eevee and all of its evolutions would fall into this, no matter how hard one tries to "age up" the cute pokemon. Chibis still fall into this rule

Some certain Pokemon and Digimons, I can see that impact except higher lvl. Wouldn't be that ironic that... Dragoneer the admin/manger of this site and he happened to be Digimonsona. It would be violated his own ToS so it doesn't makes sense. It has to be more than that just one reasons decision by mods/admins. Chibis, I can see it would impact. There is too deeply grey area as it tends to be mask actual age.

I can't say about this guy's demise. I looked at his banner that shorta gives off minor physicque/charateristic. A close friend of mine who have shortstack beefs and some pokemon/digimon forms as buffed low-high lvl. So far; haven't impacted him and no issues. =0

Seeing that pic.... yeah. That's one of example is what they targeted based on physical and their looks alone. It seems too child-like to me imo. Keep in mind this rules will be effective on July 1st so this guy and other guy you mentioned may have gotten reports over his arts to admin before that new rule to launch.

About that Riolu... I wanted to point out to FA OWNER/ADMIN  Dragoneer and his sona/his OCs is literally digimon shorta fitting to child-like description. Wouldn't be ironic if it violated his OWN tos that can caused conflicts and contradiction? I doubt he would risk that because it would be end of FA. So, I don't think it will affected any pokemon/digimons unless very child-like physique as mentioned in ToS updated journal.

We will have to wait and see how this will pans out after July 1st. To get the real idea.

Thats good news actually, many artists used that "legal loophole" to practically do cub/teenager porn, And some pictures are so ambiguous;
Characters whith small flat breast (women) and clearly underage faces doing +18 stuff or males that look like kids.

Maybe even bronies are affected since MLP chars looks like underage chars

Yeah and I want to point out of what mentioned in journal. They specifically they will target to characters based on physique and characteristic deemed too child-like which is much easier to enforce that and rid of it. Didn't mentioned on teenager due to very conflicting because of physique and characteristic of late teen (age of 16-19) and young adult are way too similar (I doubt it would happened. Not to mentioned in despite of worldwide internet rules as 18+ only; some to most countries around world including some of Europe countries full nsfw legal age are 16+). It does explains huge conflict all over internet in this matters due to their stance on morality and following "Their own country rules. I don't see a problem".

MLP can be tricky as much as Pokemon/Digimon tbh. EXCEPT aged up version with muscles or other body type might be fine and not so much for child-like.

Most people are a lot more concerned about the rule being enforced on the end of spectrum that, historically, has been rather extreme. Like that one time twitter decided that a female adult anime character with huge rack but height below 5' was 'child-coded' and therefore child porn, and all the stuff about 'not caring' about canonicity of things and only the appearances sure sounds similar. Where do shortstacks end and child-proportioned begin? It's impossible to trutst a website like this, with its already shaky report system history of being either ignored or abused, to actually pass reasonable judgement, so I think the backlash is perfectly understnadable. The issue was never ban on child stuff, but way moreso fears of it being enforced in worst ways possible, which current clarifications dont assauge in the slightest, as it all will depend simply on subjective opinion of whoever happens to be judging.

Question is whether on what age do they deem it as minor since there are some countries outside the US consider the minor limit to be younger that the 18 year old limit quite a few of us are used to. I believe France and Japan’s age limit is 15 years old but still got strict age limit for alcohol and smoking just like US does. Also I wonder for the written stories post where the content like teenager porn is a gray area if both of them are teenagers with each other and with consent as a coming of age story of sorts.

I underlined that is what they will be focus on to remove and ban arts that contained it. It's much easier to enforce that rules and taken actions by admins/mods because it's more easier to identify than mid-late teens. 16-17 is complicated subject because it's similar to young adults and adults in terms of physical/anatomically.

That's Japan's age of consent. Some of Europe countries, SE/E Asia, and some countries around of world's full legal NSFW age of consent are 16 and up (Alcohol and others is same as US/Canada). Keep in mind, world wide website rules for all internationals to follow NSFW content are 18+ and up as standard policies because most websites we uses nowadays are mostly based in USA (Servers and IP address). To avoid risk innocents in US and some other countries who strictly 18+ and up getting in deep legal trouble when unknowingly nsfw interaction toward someone who are 18 and under (There are more than several documents of innocents got in legal trouble pretty much ruined their lives forever over the years in US and those countries. Of course... not so innocents/pedos were arrested n jailed as well for good reasons).

That is why you see so many conflicts and dramas over pics of mid-late teenager in nsfw pics/story scenarios occasionally on Twitter. Some to most people always demand unfollow as well willing to block whoever are 18 and under to protect themselves from legal troubles (Which is for a good reasons. They don't want to get in trouble and ruined for the rest of lives). Yes, some people in countries with 16 and up legal will shrug it off and not to deal with it. It's deep complicated subject nowadays because people living in those countries have completely different age of consent laws to follow they are very used to and what considered to be morality acceptance. They always said "I don't see a problem. It's legal and normal in my country so i'm just follow it rather than yours. I'm absolutely doing it. Not my problems; it yours."

Just to be safe is to sticking to 18+ and up for nsfw contents for now on and that applied to all international who uses world wide websites. I'm following that too in public spaces.
