It really is a shame but I can't be surprised it happened. When the first massive cub ban happened, many prominent artists and moderators used that to mean "We should also banish artists who have weird or gross fetishes" effectively turning this site to a facist state. I know cause I got several comments telling me to remove my work because of how big I draw feet, which they saw as unnatural and the mods....agreed with the bullies telling me to change my art style or leave. The people on this site want to act like the only art allowed in the furry community is the tastes of a few "popular" artists and egotistical mods then yeah... this exodus is a long time coming. IMVU bailed them out before but it's clear this site brings out the worst in the furry fandom...

I don't like this site, how is it possible that cub and toddler content is intolerant to them, but to see characters being abused, killed and amputated literally as crying corpses are perfectly accepted on the platform, makes me how sick the people in charge are.

That's exactly it. They promote all kinds of violence and abuse which actually hurts people (and bullying minors cause I see how these people treat minors on twitter) but they act like they have the world to fear if the number 17 pops up. They don't care about the point of the law or anything, they're just looking for reasons to harass others and this is the lowest hanging fruit. I've been seeing a serious uptick in that stuff lately too, as 15 years ago no one really was nearly as concerned about this stuff and people generally didn't bring it up, but a sudden surge in extremism has caused everyone to paste all over their page emphasis on hateful rhetoric. I dunno what it is, but I seriously think there are saboteurs in the Furry communities trying to make everyone look a lot worse than we really are.

Ultimately though... It's annoying but doesn't stop me from drawing what I want. It just means I won't share it here or upload it, but gosh it gets increasingly difficult to want to support or meet artists online when everyone's so cynical. Gosh I'm just here to enjoy the art, I don't need all this political BS about what I can and can't draw. We have enough of that IRL...heck IRL you can draw more stuff than you can online as I showed my art to my IRL coworkers and they commissioned me to draw stuff for the company. Goes to show...it's just immaturity online.
