Oh yeah I should whine about the policy here too

yeah it's still fucking stupid after the clarifying update, gj team
I don't think it'll affect too much of my gallery, I'll leave it up to the mods to decide if I've drawn digimon off-model enough by accident that they're not innocent children anymore.
I will be starting up some alternate galleries for this content though, kind of need to given that the only other place I post it is a twitter that's staying locked.

FA+

And they don't even have comments enabled for their updates.
I guess what I'm most surprised about with the reaction to these updates is that there really isn't any other place that all of the artists are going.
People are on all sorts of different accounts and there's not a consensus on where to flock to if the mods go ban happy.
Weasyl and Inkbunny still seem to be the most comparable alternatives, but barely anyone remembers the former exists, and there are decent reasons why some people might not be keen on the latter lol.
We're not there yet anyway, maybe this will be just like the current rules and 95% of the time you wont get in trouble anyway - it's just there to be enforced if a mod decides they have it out for you :)
Twitter is terrible as an art site, especially for those on the viewing end. There's no gallery option there, which makes it near impossible to look through all of a user's past art uploads. Twitter is becoming more toxic to diversity with each coming week as well, so not a very pleasant or safe place to be socially.
I think the only suitable furry art gallery site, that has a fair amount of activity is Inkbunny.
I have a duplicate of most of my stuff on Inkbunny, but I'm not nearly as active there as I am here. If FA starts barfing users all over the place, I'll simply move my activity to Inkbunny and hope many of the people I watch here would end up there.
