Two sites that are the best bets are SoFurry and Weasyl from what I've seen so far.
Inkbunny has cub stuff heavily there, and Itaku am not sure about yet, dunno much about it.

It'll take a long while for a new alternative to gain traction, for whatever winner there is to become clear (if a new standard gets set at all). In the meantime there's really no avoiding posting multiple places and waiting to see where the chips fall. Somebody else mentioned SoFurry, Weasyl, Inkbunny, and Itaku, so - I'll throw out Eka's Portal for your consideration. Vore-centric site, though not furry exclusive. Somewhat active community, and another option for you.

I suppose you're right. I'm mainly thinking about how much more work it'll be, and how many more tabs I'll have to leave open. I'm not looking forward to this…
