So, as it is with FA's new policy updates, a fair bit is going to change around here, and I am certainly not happy about it. This puts not only myself, but many artists into an excessively weird spot where a good portion of our content -- non-sexual or not -- suddenly puts our security at risk.
For a tl;dr, FA's tyrannical moderation team has decided to expand their definitions of what constitutes as "child-like" in art forms, blanketing it over various Pokemon and Digimon of low level/ranking. Anything that would fall under these categories are effectively ban-worthy when put into fetish/sexual works:
Pokemon: "Baby" stage Pokemon (Pichu, Igglybuff, etc.), "Basic" stage Pokemon (Cyndaquil, Riolu, etc.) (Using Pokemon TCG stage names for references.)
Digimon: Freshly Hatched, In-Training 1, In-Training 2, Rookie Level. (Fresh from egg up to Rookies like Agumon and Patamon.)
While I'm all for getting obvious pedo-bait tier art off the platform, this is going too far and ruling with an iron fist at this point. This creates four major issues with their rules;
1. Those who know me, know that unless I have an art piece specifically under my "Total NSFW" folder (which is exceptionally rare), generally speaking my works are not inherently meant to be sexual. Lewd arts are always using adult characters. Because this is up to moderation and how they rule on fetish works in the past, all fetish works are considered sexual. Thus, suddenly something cutesy, such as drawing a younger Sprite having fun as a diapered filly, is now ban worthy. Intent be damned.
2. Artists who follow canonical designs and do not deviate to make specific chances to already made designs, such as drawing a Cyndaquil or Kirlia as GameFreak designed them, are suddenly no longer allowed to draw them in their mediums. We are being openly punished for wanting to stick to the already established, age undistinguishable style of the characters.
3. FA made SPECIFIC exemptions for their rules, which is complete bullshit and shows favoritism. Why does Vore and Transformation get a free pass while everyone else gets shoved out the door? That's honestly complete degeneracy, and only shows that they want what they like around. All fetishes are at base sexual in nature, and should be given the same treatment. No exceptions. Context matters.
4. A lot of us, especially in the ABDL department, now no longer have a reliable platform to go to. Tumblr is dead with NSFW being blanketed over anything fetish related and being actively suppressed. (Believe me, I've been digging through as many settings as possible on there. It's dead.) Twitter is a quickly dying dumpster fire. DeviantArt has been long since dead with how rampant art theft is, how bad their moderation team is, and with the advent of AI generated art and them pushing for it... It's not a nice place. Pixiv is mostly Eastern-based content (mostly Asia) but has A LOT of underage content on there (especially AI generated content featuring minors), InkBunny is literal pedophilia city... This is truly an end of an era.
What does this mean for me going forward?
There's two things this means for me. First is that my gallery will be expunged of A LOT of works of mine. I don't see all of them getting nuked, but a fair number of them. Anything non-pony, aged down/younger variant, or CMC related will be removed. Gift art included.
Second is that this pretty much puts that final nail in my coffin for art. With FA cracking the whip this heavily against content creators like myself, I no longer have an effective platform for anything, sans Derpibooru, but that is for pony only. Depending upon a few things, I may just stop posting works altogether. it's a heavy thing to bear, but that's what happens when we don't have an open, accepting forum to be able to post content anymore.
What about your Discord?
I'll be asking this in both this Journal and my Discord as a poll. Honestly, I've been playing around with the thought of completely deleting my Discord server, as I am not much of a content creator anymore. I rarely stream (my most consistent stream now is Metroid Prime Randomizer with some others), and most art that I make is either for my Twitch channel, or works that only gets posted to a group with friends. As such, my Discord feels moot to have now. However, with FA doing what it is doing, I may re-open it to the public with some rule changes.
So I'll leave this here: Would you rather have my Discord publicly open with stricter rule changes, or have it disappear with my works?
What will do you about this whole situation?
Personally, I'm not invested enough to fight this. I'm really not. I've seen how tyrannical the FA staff can be. This is a huge overstep for them, and they don't care. Their forums are dead, their Discord strictly has ANY discussion about site policy banned, the only medium to make yourself heard and known is their dying Twitter. If you want your voices to be heard over this, I urge you to go to their Twitter and make yourselves known. But do not harass them over this. It is one thing to actively protest their actions, it is a whole other bag to harass them over it. Harassment will not be condoned.
That being said, this will probably end up being my last journal here. It's clear that the FA staff gives zero fucks about the majority of their users, and seek to punish anyone they do not like. I can't say I'm surprised to see this, but the end of an era is at hand for us.

Lots of people are fine on DA and they allow to reduce the number of AI works you are getting suggested. Inkbunny has an excellent tagging and tag-blocking feature allowing you to hide cubs if you wish to. Pixiv also has a feature to hide AI art specifically.
Besides that I mostly agree with you. This rule-interpretation change is just ridiculous...
DeviantArt has historically had problems with me, and has rules against content that me and others like me post. I'm also very much against what most people do with AI art (namely shamelessly using it to copy artists' styles.) Art thieves are still rampant here.
InkBunny is still pedo central and I would not want to be associated with it in any way, shape, or form.
My Pixiv filters are already used up as a free user. They don't give you many options for filtering unless you're premium.
The pool of what is still left that is reasonable and doesn't have a terrible reputation is low. FA was the last place for an actual, publicly available database for my works. Now that they drove the final nail in the coffin, it's pretty much a done deal that my works are done now.

FA is also contradicting its self since they do allow as young as 13 to sign up for a borderline furry porn site. so this rule change comes off as very hallo and hypocritical and more like a Vague YouTube policy.
im very worried because when i posted some pony Plushy's i got to put in my back window of my car to show my furry and pony pride because i was a ABDL i got post targeted by mods who started removing posts and threading to ban me because they did not like 2 post after id been here for years never broke a rule or policy, even got my account locked for 1 1/2 years sent email after email screaming in to the void i did nothing wrong tell finally A mod said this isent right and helped unlock my account because no reason was given for my account being locked.
I've already seen journal posts from other ABDL artist like cargo who had a brain dead twitter tard calling him a Pedo for being against the new change Sadly Fa staff has fallen in to the twitter social media cesspit of stupid.

I don't have facebook twitter or social media of any kind I feel the large majority of it is for the mentally ill to fight in echo chambers all day about politics and try to mass group cancel anything they don't like (seriously go out side touch grass people YEESH)
its like these folks don't even think about how it affects folks specially some of us in the ABDL community: for me i was sexually abused for the 1st 4 years of my life and beaten up anytime i was thought of as bout to tell some one what was happening.. after i did say something witch divorced our family we lost the house me my mom and brother who dealt with the abuse for 8 years, me being the youngest, all became homeless. when i got older Diaper and Cars were the two things I latched on to as Coping mechanisms
apparently im the villain of the week because im a ABDL I was born in the mid 80s i saw how the world use to treat the LGBTQ and i Saw how the ABDL community was treated back then where we all had to make our own sites to post art work to and we had to be undergound because of attacks,, and the community when Fa started we all slowly came here when we saw they did not attack us. we finally found a place :) ......... now that safety is being ripped away :(

I mean, FA's content DOES have filters by default, but this is pretty much just a move around blanketing anything that could be constituted as CP-like content, even if it unfairly punishes people who aren't actually making shit like that. See: My point about artists who draw characters as they are (ala Pokemon or Digimon) that have an established style and don't deviate from it.
2. Sorry to hear you got nuked by their tyrannical staff. I'm not surprised by it, though. The fact that any and all site policy discussion is banned from their Discord, it shows they don't fucking care.
3. Yep. They're basically Twitterites, and heavily bigoted against any fetish content they do not like.
4. I don't see anything happening to femboys/tomboys/crossdressers/trans folk, as they've been trying to support them. But as for people into "little people" (or the vertically challenged, if I'm interpreting this right), and those whose characters (not even fursonas, as mine's a ponysona) that represent them or how they want to be, FA just says "fuck those people" and willingly toss them under the bus without even a second thought.

7. Yep. Agreed to this as well. It's why I'm off most social media platforms now. The only one I even remotely regularly use now is my pony Mastodon account. But Mastodon is a weird site where EVERYTHING is segregated.
8. Yeeep. I'm a 90s kid, but I had access to ABDL spaces while the internet was still young and TBDL places were not only common but often looked at. Things have evolved since then "in the name of protecting the kids", but if I'm going to be honest here, the Furry community was never welcoming to me. Not then, not now. Seeing FA go through this shit as well just tells me that being around the furries is not where I belong (as if I belonged anywhere in the first place.)
I've mostly only had positive hugs love and joy in the furry fandom and Brony fandom when they show got brought back.
I understand all good things will come to a end websites like furry mucks in the 90s and early 2000s ended the same way when the Burned furs incident happend seen the wars come and go, got older more bald wise to a point. ill never not a be a furry i proud of it (even if I think furry is just a more primal nature from when we lived in caves and danced around with bear and wolf headdresses)

Yeah, the rule changes to FA seem intentionally obtuse to get a lot of artist that make various fetish works off their platform. InkBunny already has a reputation for enabling pedophiles (as that's where all of them went when the original cubcon rules were put into place.)
These kinds of people are everywhere, but this rule is meant to strike down those trying to get away with certain things that is basically teetering on the edge of being unacceptable. The problem is those of us just making cutesy shit get caught in the crossfire, context be damned.
A lot of people are going to be leaving FA, and chances are good that FA will lose a lot of support and funding for this move.
However, a shortstack like Lopmon, is not. It's a whole bunch of bullshit.
