In a normal situation, I'd not touch my gallery, I have nothing they can pin on me as "cub" as I made certain I swept through my gallery with a fine toothed comb.
But just a couple days ago, I realized I never backed up the art made by my deceased sweetheart
renamon19 and so I did so.
To my horror, one of his images had been deleted (that I thankfully already had saved) because it was a spur of the moment thing. I then found other images he did, including one including my character, his character, and
keeperofjunk and I realized... I'm the only one out of those three who's still alive... It was soul rattling and I'm still not over the loss of my sweetheart 13 years ago.
Then the clarification came out, specifically tagging "small" pokemon or "first stage" pokemon... So what does this mean for Zangoose who only has one stage? I refuse to send out a ticket, that puts you in the bullseye and they will FIND something that they deem violates the rules.
But the more damning one is that they listed Gatomon. I had two gatomon OCs and even though I specifically have them anthroed, what the hell will the ruling be?
I normally would do nothing. I would leave my gallery as is.
... but as I went into my early gallery pics... I saw comments left by users who aren't alive anymore. I saw images done by people who have outright vanished. I run the risk of my gallery being banned simply because ONE image that some mod/admin doesn't like and those comments, those images, can be lost... And I can't let that happen.
I therefore will be going through my gallery and removing all of my Zangoose and gatomon images and backing them up on IB.
I hate this so much...
Because what is this for? What is this witch hunt aimed at? Vore and Teen Pregnancy doesn't "protect minors". Deleting Gatomon and Cubone pics doesn't protect minors.

I've been talking to mods about this to get specific about what I need to delete from my album since I have both pikachu and brionne which are both small pokemon.
"Represented canonically, Pikachu is considered adult-like in appearance, whereas Brionne is considered childlike. Therefore, Pikachu would not have to be aged up, but Brionne would."
Who the crap says pikachu has an adult-like appearance?
This entire change to the system is riddled with favoritism, egotism, nepotism, and is hypocritical to the upteenth degree. It's simple the mods having yet another power trip and potentially conveniently ignoring their own wrongdoings, or trying to hide them like a schoolkid caught on his parents computer with porn.
No blanket bans on species, yet the very next post blanket bans some species in most common representations. Zero tact or knowledge of species in universe or how they function, and complete lack of care for years upon years of work. Sure, the system's been in place, but having a major cow about it now, really only brings it hard into the light and makes them severely liable to intense scrutiny. Guarantee we go digging around in their closets, we'll find more than just Dragoneer and Zauch's misdeeds, and the hypocrisy is really the crux that makes it all pathetic to state. Stones in a glass house and such.
I feel for you man, I really do. This whole thing reeks of mod power trips or some half-hearted attempt for investors, which this community really doesn't need.
I'm pretty upset about all that's going on here too. I don't know why there are so many people nowadays who want to be fantasy police and punish people for "wrong thing." There's no way to moderate what's in someone's head unless they state explicitly what it is. The vast majority of people are not trying to take advantage of some "loophole" in order to draw 2,000 year old vampires with children bodies. This whole thing is truly a mess and it's threatening to devastate the whole community here and delete cherished memories.
