SAI/tablet help!
2 years ago
Hello all!!!
I just recently got my 'new' bamboo fun set up with pen pressure (why are the drivers for these things always such nightmares ughh), but NOW the pen won't 'reach' the whole screen when I have Sai open- the right hand side (where all the tools are) and the bottom of the screen are inaccessible and blocked off.
Some things I have tried:
- rebooting
- reinstalling the tablet driver
- Changing tablet screen area to 'monitor' from 'full screen' and making sure the tablet's area is 'full' instead of 'portion'
- changing the DPI settings in SAI's properties (high DPI scaling override)
I am running windows 11, and I will say that the most recent OS available to select when running the compatibility troubleshooter in SAI was Windows 8... does this matter?
If you have any other ideas, please help! I was so overjoyed to have pen pressure back after MONTHS of not having it and not doing digital art, and now it's really frustrating to be having another road block -_-;

It’s been a long time since I used an older Bamboo Fun but there’s one setting that may help called “force aspect ratio” it basically forces the active area of the tablet to match your display shape, the shapes might be slightly different causing those dead zones where the pen won’t reach.
