Are there even other websites for writers...?

No, this won't be a post about the policy, I think other users have already said enough about it. And no, nothing is gonna change from my side, I'll keep posting stuff here as I've been doing for almost a year now. But I've been thinking about the future of the website, and how at the very least, it might be better to not keep every egg in one basket, so I should probably find more galleries to upload to.
I already have another gallery on Eka's Portal, and I'm looking into self-hosting my stories too, but it'd make more sense to follow the community wherever people decide to migrate to. I've seen a bunch of artists mainly move off to Twitter or Discord, but I feel that both of those are quite impractical as art galleries. For Twitter, I honestly don't see that website surviving much longer, aside from how awful its algorithmically-tinkered infinite scroll can be; and Discord, despite being my primary channel, feels like a bunch of limited, closed off spaces that don't interact with each other. Plus, they seem more focused on artwork, and not really suitable for stories. Mastodon is a bit better on both aspects, but it's still just as art-focused as those two.
So what other options are there? I guess Weasyl and SoFurry are options, but my impression is that both websites are barren... Maybe I've got the wrong impression? Also, IB seems more populated and resilient, despite the site's reputation. I don't wanna spread out too much, mind. Maintaining both galleries is already a bit of a hassle as-is. But maybe I should look into those three or others? I'd like to hear any suggestions or opinions, though.

Sadly, it doesn't seem that they encourage the posting of original fiction (https://archiveofourown.org/tos_faq.....iginal_fiction), which is all of my content at this point. But if I write anything that counts as fanfic, I'll definitely consider it.
