Now on SubscribeStar!

tl;dr: No, I'm not paywalling my content! All of my future stories will continue to be free and public, but if you would like to support me financially and get extras, keep reading!
I've been looking into some ways of letting people support my content financially, outside of commissions (or my tip jar on Stripe). And a subscription service sounds like the best way to do it. So I got in contact with SubscribeStar (which, for those who don't know, is a subscription platform focused on fictional adult-oriented content creators), who approved my profile on their website. Hooray!
But I also don't want to lock my stories behind a paywall, since having my content freely available is very important to me – I want my writing to be enjoyed by all, including those who can't (or don't want to) pay for it. At the same time, I understand wanting to get stuff in return for your money, so I don't want to offer nothing in return.
Therefore, I decided to grab my latest story, "Taken In", and add annotations pertaining to my writing process! Thoughts, research, trivia, tidbits, and hidden intents...a little bit of everything in a tidy-ish PDF! Check the first page preview here!
If that piqued your interest, please consider checking out my SubscribeStar profile. You can access all 11 pages of annotated story by paying me as little as $1!

Now for some questions you might have...
Q: Why are there multiple tiers? A: To allow people to support me however they feel like! The minimum support amount is $1, but to get access to all of my SubscribeStar exclusive content, you'll have to be in the $5 tier or higher. As of right now, both posts (the annotated story + a post detailing my plans for January) are available at the lowest tier. But I'm looking into different options of restricted content for $5+ supporters, such as the ability to vote in polls.
Q: What if I only want to pay you $1 for the annotated story, then unsubscribe? A: Not a problem! SubscribeStar defaults to monthly recurring payments, but it easily lets you unsubscribe after a single payment, and still gives you subscription perks for the rest of the month! Of course, if you want to support me recurrently – or pay me more than $1 –, I'd appreciate it a lot!!
Q: What if I don't want to pay you? A: That's alright! Even if I don't get any subscribers at all, I'll still keep posting new content to the best of my ability, like always. If you don't subscribe, nothing will change for you. If this is you, then I still appreciate you reading this far into my post!
Q: Why don't you... timegate your content? A: I don't really like that. Subscribers don't really get any value from accessing stuff early – and I imagine most people would simply wait it out. Plus, not only would it be stressful for me to schedule updates to five different websites + SubscribeStar, but it might be bad for my gallery's visibility and growth. Even if people were willing to pay for early access, it's not something I want.
Q: Why don't you... offer commission discounts? A: Unfortunately, I don't expect to take on commissioned work regularly. I have periods where I want to work on my own projects, or take longer breaks from writing. And when I am able to work on commissions, I struggle with more than one at a time. It'd be unfair for any subscribers who want to grab a commission slot from me but are unable to.
Q: Why don't you... host story raffles? A: SubscribeStar prohibits any "unlicensed lottery, including but not limited to sweepstakes, raffles, mystery boxes, and other contests with offering a free gift, prize as an inducement to purchase their product or service". Besides, if I do any more raffles, I'd rather they remain public and free to enter, like my first one.
Q: Why don't you... (... some other idea ...)? A: Maybe! As long as it's allowed by SubscribeStar and doesn't get in the way of my public story uploads. If you have any ideas, please hit me up and I'll look into incorporating them. After all, both me and any supporters would benefit from an engaging profile, right?
Q: Will you change your mind about the rewards? A: I'm only starting out on SubscribeStar, so I'm still figuring out what works and what doesn't. However, I may adjust the tiers with time. I want to reiterate yet again that my stories, existing or new, will remain public and free as long as I'm making them. But who knows, maybe I can find more interesting rewards to offer you?
Thank you for reading, and I'll see you around!
