Yep another journal about new rules and some reflexion

With the recent event going on I wanted to add my own salt ^^.
For me what is going on is mostly about the liberty of expression. Should you be able to draw the sexualisation of something if that something is forbidden in real life. Why isn't the representation of rape, necrophilia, incest forbidden too. All of them are forbidden in real life but their representation is not (or at least not that I'm aware of). is it worse to draw a cub having sex rather than someone getting rape?
For me this all feel like it's on the same level. but for a reason I don't have cub seems to be pointed at more than the rest. I often wonder if I missed part of the story?
I often wonder why the representation of something illegal should be banned? Does drawing illegal things makes people want to try the real thing? I didn't found any scientific study dealing about the question. but on the other hand it feels like it could close the debate so easily if we had an answer about that.
but I often consider both alternative to the last question, just in case we want to see about the consequences.
- If that is true then making access to such content could prevent bad consequences. Restricting liberties for prevention is an option. With the side effect of narrowing down your liberty of expression.
- If that is false then no consequences so no problem, right?
It really feels like the first scenario was considered because it minimize the risk of someone getting involved in these behaviour. but even with that you need to accept that whatever the case your liberty will be cut short by the consequences. I would often take the example of cars if cars were forbidden we'll get no car accident therefore we get an increase of safety against our liberty. But cars are also useful ans the liberty/comfort/happiness they bring seems to overcome the balance. question is up to what point the balance become reversed?
This mostly describe the idea I have of everything happening right now in my head. I would like the answer to be so easy, I would like to be proven wrong. but deep down inside I value that liberty that make me think the possibilities are endless.
By the way this does not only target the recent event on furaffinity but just some thinking I made to myself about liberty vs safety, I like to think and debate about all these subject, trying to see what people think and why do they think this way. Even if furaffinity is not really the place for such debate I wanted to put in light that I'm a bit afraid about the future by all the question , argument or drama going on and the way they are solved.
Anyway... I'm still here and alive. you can find me on my Inkbunny under the same name,I mostly put my NSFW art here. And there is my twitter Alternatif207 where I post sometime.
