(urgent) twitter suspension

edit: i recovered client names + i was really panicked when i wrote this journal but i’m a lot calmer now. seems there’s a wave of false positive suspensions going on where people are randomly getting falsely suspended for ban evasion just like me, and i’m hopeful that it’ll get rolled back at some point. in the meantime i have contact with clients and i’ve let a few people in the twitter furry community know. fingers crossed!
edit 2: hey my panicked state last night doesn't reflect the reality of the situation, i wrote it mid-panic attack. even if i hadn't found my clients' twitter usernames i had their emails, i do keep a list of my commission work, and while i am most active on twitter i do post to other platforms and keep a personal backup of all my artwork on my computer (i wouldn't lose my art from being banned off of any platform/account). i also have contacts within the twitter community that i informed as well. i just made this journal to let people know why my twitter was suspended, i appreciate the advice but i have things under control

if twitter continues to behave like that you should consider moving to other places like itaku or buzzly

i have had this twitter account for 5-6 years and nothing like this has ever happened to me before. i’ve also never heard of itaku and thought buzzly kind of fell apart? the main issue with smaller art gallery sites, while cool and i’d like to support them, are not something i can sustainably sell commissions on due to the lack of userbase. if either of these sites have a thriving economy then let me know

Not knowing if I'd one day get suspended from a site is one of the reasons why I switched my Commission communications to email since everyone has an email of some kind. You might also want to keep a List of your active Coms on something like Trello.


i do host my commission list on my own site now (not trello specifically but similar purpose), but for some reason i hadn't written the names of my clients this last batch. i did have their emails if i needed to contact them and couldn't recover their twitter usernames (in my panic last night i kind of forgot that i had everyone's emails) will definitely be more careful from now on!
