I've come to a pretty neat realization! If you can take a step back, any place, any time, and—without any external affirmation—say

"You know what? I have it pretty good. And I wouldn't have it any other way."

Then true happiness is yours. As your clock ticks on, you will watch the short-sighted fizzle out and tell them "I respectfully decline" as you continue on, without regrets, unshaken.
