I am really sorry for you. It is a shame that you don't get paid for your work but I understand why you decided to finish the comic for the other 4 people. That was very fair and sweet of you! Hopefully something like that will never, never happen again

I’m sorry to hear this. I’ve seen/heard alot of stories like this. It hurts me because as a fellow artist it affects not just you but all of us.

That truly sucks and I'm really sorry you had to deal with that, but I should also warn you that FA has rules against naming/shaming specific individuals even if they absolutely did a bad thing like ripping off an artist, to protect themselves from allegations of allowing harrassment. So again, while I totally sympathise and think it's a good thing to stop other artists/creators potentially getting scammed by warning them about specific individuals, you may want to reconsider posting about it here (or at least posting about it in a way that directly identifies the person responsible) to avoid risking being unfairly punished yourself.

I know about this senseless rule, but I do hope this journal will not be removed because of the fact I didn't write a word about this on FA, didn't mention their FA account and left all nicknames and proofs outside this platform. So I don't see any problems.
Maybe you shouldn't contact the police either, it's also a kind of... harassment... huh

Mmm I certainly don't agree with the blanket nature of the rule at all, I'm just nervous because you link to the page of the comic on FA which has the commissioners involved listed in its description. All the person who wronged you would need to do is see this and report it and then YOU'D get warned or suspended while they'd face no punishment, which would be even more sucky.

So you are trying to teach me what I have been doing for years. Did you take into account that this was a trusted person with whom I communicated well? Did you took into account that everyone except they paid, and if 4 people waited a year or more, it would already be a minus of MY reputation? So please, if you want to say something, you can just sympathize instead of blaming me and trying to educate me with such obvious advice.
When something has already happened, it is very easy to give advices and look wise.

This entire situation is absolutely blood boiling. I am so sorry you have to go through it. Reminded me of my own histories with scammers.. I hope this person will never find peace.

I also hope there will be more positive interactions with clients for you in the future that will at least mend this wound a bit. You are one of the kindest people I've met online and it's really heart wrenching to see you go through the situations like these.
