To AC or not to AC...

So yeah, I'm currently trying to figure out whether or not I want to go to next year's AC. Coming over from Europe to attend isn't exactly cheap, but since I don't plan anything else for the rest of the year, it's manageable.
Let's recap.
Being my first con, the highlights of AC09 were Kage's show(s) and the fireworks. I attended a few more things, but other than that I was pretty much running around aimlessly and, at times, bored.
Like I said in an earlier journal: I hardly knew anyone and my roomies were spending the better part of their time selling stuff at Artist's Alley. Couple that with me being the antithesis of "pleasant company" and the very epitome of antisocial and... well... I'm sure you can figure out the rest yourself.
At this point, I don't see any reason to go.
If anyone is willing to give some pointers whether something like me should (or should not) attend, I'd be very, very grateful. <3

But yes, I do know what you mean. Traveling can be expensive, but you'll know a lot more people if you go to the Zoo. If you do go, we need to draw some Xeno's ;DDD
If I do go, we'll definitely have to do that... although I'm not that good drawing on paper though.
I SO lack my eraser tool, adjustable brush size and photoshop filters to make things look good without putting much effort into it. >___>;
Ah well, can't have it all, I suppose. :þ
Since I don't have a laptop with a draw-screen thingy, I'll probably go with plenty of paper and some pencils instead.
You haven't met me yet.
I don't know whether I'll be overly talky or just be rather quiet and lock up.
Compare it to a system crash where neither ctrl+alt+del nor the reset button will work.
Shutting down the system for a restart won't do any good either.
Fair warning is fair, I'd say.
I never heard back from to many people on that...in my own opinion I screwed up by being late xD I had a lot planned and ended up winging it instead...but yes. Same Hoofer that looked like an asshole recollecting back because I wore those sunglasses > < Same one that talked about animal abuse and the amish and only a few people peeped up while the rest were to shy to speak to me directly ^ ^ But that is ok. It went well in the end. Why do you ask?
Small oryx girl in the front row corner, right next to the Impala guy
Also yes, I'm shy as hell. :C
Yes! I remember you...and I do believe I saw you at MFF did I not? Whatever, it doesn't matter if your shy ^ ^ I'm compatible!
Last con you REFUSED to go around to shows with me and my roomies and the other small group of people who hanged around with us
Also, you're going to the dances.
Anyways, me and my good (ever present) friend Murphy are gonna have a long talk before making any decisions just yet, but thanks for the suggestion.
I'll keep it in mind in case I do decide to go through with it all. :3
Also, dances? Me? Surely you jest!
It's still half a year away and unless I can sleep in a bed, I'm not going.
Sleeping on the air matress was murder on my spine and neck.
Besides, if I can get a reservation I can claim a whole damn bed all for myself. xþ
