choose me a new species?

Before anyone thinks otherwise, I still like xenomorphs... But variety is the spice of life!
As such, I'm searching something new... something different.
What do you think would suit me, based on what you know about me?
Even if you don't know me, feel free to suggest a species you like.
Monsters, aliens, fuzzy thing, scaly things, anything!
Suggest me whatever you want and (if possible) feel free to illustrate with a link. :3
So why am I doing this?
As said, variety. I can draw all kinds of critters, but without knowing what's out there, my imaginations tends to come up blank half-way the doodle or sketch. So I'm looking for some inspiration to work with, and who better to ask than such a varied audience? :þ

If you prefer not to mix a xeno with anything than i say go for something a tad bit rough and evil, Preferably monsters and nothing fluffy and fuzzy. Try for something less common and more "out there"!
So then, something monstery and not too common.

You are tall and thin like a snakeypoop, and you get to keep scaleish things and even use your experience with xeno heads in a way c;
Definitely adding them to the list of options!
Dawing the tail long enough and giving it enough volume sure ain't easy... but that's what practice is all about. XD
And maybe I should keep it simple for a change... no hood, intricate patterns or anything.

Monstrous, bizarre, grotesque, and I have yet to see a single 'sona on here using them as a base.
I gotta say there's A LOT of shapes and sized I could choose from.
Interesting, but maybe a bit too monstery for me. XD
Though quite complex, if noteven more complex than xenomorphs.
They have a way more bony look, compard to the biomech feel xenomorphs have... it would most certainly be an interesting challenge though. x)
Despite looking badass, I'm also searching for somethinga bit more user-friendly.
Mainly not to make it too hard for myself. :þ
