I've always been amazed by your drawing style. It's very cute and original. How did you develop this style? Have you always drawn like this or is it something like a learning outcome?
As a kid I drew a lot of cartoon human in doodle until I discovered the fandom furry in 2012. I switched from human to furry thingies. I drew some doodle foxahs here and there. In august 2016 I started learning how to draw anatomy serious. I picked up the style of Calvin & Hobbes I used to read when I was an early teenager. I then developed my own style through years.
The only part of anatomy I'm struggling with is the normal eyes where every furry artists often draw. I gave the black oval dots. It came out purrfect. Although I got some comments about my eyes style.
They just wanted the normal one but I cannot change that. If I do, my style would look way different and even uglier.
To be honest, I'm quite happy with my current style. Of course I still improve my art skill forever. ^-^
Now I understand where this is familiar to me. This is great^^ Well, I was seeing the work of some artists whose style was very different from the mainstream, but their ideas were in harmony with the style, so it was very touching to the soul.
Do not try to change your style, because you are in harmony with it. As long as it stays that way, your works will convey your feelings or ideas perfectly. =3
