Hey there everyone!
Been a little while since my last journal entry and figured there was stuff to talk about.
So first things first, the recent FA policy update. I've been keeping rather quiet on this subject because as a writer, the new rule changes on FA don't directly affect me.
That being said, it will affect me in a more indirect sense because it's affecting friends of mine as well as artists I have been following and enjoying the work of for quite some time. Since this update was announced I've been quite disheartened to see so many people say they are leaving and creating accounts elsewhere but I completely understand and respect your reasons for doing so. The uncertainty of it all must be very upsetting and I'd give you all a nice big hug if I could.
This website has always felt like the main hub of the fandom, it's a place I have always felt at home, a place I have made some amazing friends and it's been a bit of an online sanctuary for many of us over the years. Those of you who are leaving as a result of all this, I wish you all the best and will miss you dearly.
Personally I intend to stick around, I've never been great with uploading to multiple sites and prefer to have just the one place to keep my work if possible. That and building a following as a writer of macro micro smut is errr.. Slow, to say the least ^^; so I don't particularly love the idea of starting fresh elsewhere. Though if too many of my friends end up leaving for good, I may need to reconsider this as it just won't be the same without them.
For now I guess I'm just going to wait and see what happens. If for whatever reason I do feel I need to find a new home for my stories then I'll be sure to let you all know. :3 ❤️
Now, onto general life and story news.
I have finished the first module of my Open University course and the second doesn't start for a couple of months which has left me with a nice chunk of free time to work on some new stories and finish unfinished ones (when I can pull myself away from playing Tears of The Kingdom anyway, I must admit I have found myself becoming slightly addicted to it, hehe) so expect some new uploads from me in the near future~
With regards to commissions etc. I still don't really feel I'm in the right place to open them up again just yet, though will absolutely let everyone know when that changes. I'm still open to the occasional trade here and there as I find them a lot less stressful but yeah, commissions may need to wait a little longer. ^^;
And that's about it for now, I guess!

I just wish people could draw whatever they want and just have fun without anyone getting in their case over fictional characters (or assume things about people based simply on what they draw or write) but alas, that's human nature.

I see most people seem to be heading to Itaku. Not super familiar with it but if needs be I'll create an account over there just to stay in touch with friends who have fled, this will still be the main place to find me though, hehe. X3

And yeah, I have no intention of leaving although I might not be uploading any new stuff just to be on the safe side. And same~ I was glad to have found you and if I remember I do have you on Discord I believe. Got an Itaku as well, although I don't have a lot there yet. ^^;
And you're very welcome, I'm definitely looking forward to your stories as you always seem to come up with characters that I would love to be a micro to. Heheh~ So really, I'm definitely curious. X3
But hey, it's a way to keep up with artists I like who have fled FA so I'll probably just lurk there when I remember to, hehe. X3
But yes, we have eachother on Telegram and Discord, both of which I need to start using more often! My phone arbitrarily decides to stop sending me notifications from them sometimes and it makes me forget to check ^^;
I'll be sure to remind myself more often X3
And true, if anything it's another place to check from time to time for those who really don't like Inkbunny. ^^
And yush! It's been a while since we last chatted on there, no worries about not using it more often, I have that problem too being an introvert off- as well as online, with people complaining "where I've been" since I hadn't logged in for months on end. XD
So yeah. No worries. I can totally understand. ;3
