Hey guys, I'm not dead! Also, a request for assistance...

Hey, I'm still here... My drawing is currently very stagnated, and I can blame it only on myself, and my love of Patapon 2... well, other reasons, too, but Patapon 2 has been a source of wasting so many hours at work instead of practicing on art like I should be. D:
That said, there is a small tangential topic that I have, that I figure I should make mention of. To put it simple:
I'm lookin' for Roommates.
Now, this isn't any kind of move out situation here! Rather, its a temporary move -in-. Lemme go ahead and explain my situation here a little!
You see, about a year ago, well, little more than a year ago, I was given an option: Stay here and work on my edumacation, or hit the road with my family off to Okinawa where my dad got a good job and such. I decided to stick it here, in my parent's house, and look after it. This opened an interesting opportunity -- I was now the caretaker and landlord of a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house in a suburban community! Course, only temporary -- They have planned to be back in 3 years when they left, taking my siblings with them. Now, originally, there were a good number of plans with my local friends -- Things were set in stone for about a good three months before my family headed out, and things were looking pretty good! ...However, the minute my parents left, everything fell apart. That is, plans with my local friends. I was supposed to get three others to move in -- I only got one, and he turned out... well, far less than desirable! Fast forward about a year, and I got one, but lost my first one (who is -still- using his room as a storage room when he should have been moved out by now). And still no friends that are willing to take up on this offer. Not only that, but my ex-roommate stiffed me out on rent for about a month, and I'm currently in a financial rough-zone... well, at the same time, I'm not asking for money from my parents, and there's a reason for that! But that's a different story.
So! In an interesting move, I'm making an offer to the online friends out here that read these journals -- Would you like to rent a room in my house? Here's a couple of details to be on the safe side:
- 300$ month rent, $300 security deposit, with a legal written lease form to fill out.
- All bills are inclusive -- You only need to pay rent and you can do what you want.
- You are NOT required to clean -- I am responsible for the upkeep and maintaining, you are only responsible for your room.
- There is a washer and dryer in the house.
- There is also a pool in the backyard (thanks to my second roommate).
- The location is Jacksonville, NC. Its a military town.
- The longest time you can stay is potentially 2 years at the moment.
Economic situation doesn't seem too bad -- Most jobs are run of the mill customer service or food industry jobs, and there's a local community college I have a part time job at (though, I'm still looking for a -real- job...). Best bet for a good job is snagging one on base. This town, however, is by no means a permanent stay -- Its good for a transfer in life, perhaps, but nothing more.
While I don't know if any are actually interested, I'm still sending this out... just hoping, perhaps, that there will be someone interested! In anycase, there are no photos at the moment, but keep a lookout on this album:
