Literally, anything can be toxic. Nostalgia is like comfort food, in moderation, it won't negatively affect too many people. Everyone enjoys things from the time when they were kids and teenagers, but wasting too much time looking back can make a person miss good things here in the present and could potentially blind them to good things in the future.
