I've held onto hope that things will change. But it seems this will not be the case.

I've sent in my ticket at the start of it all and I've been holding onto the reply for the last few weeks - "NSFW artwork of Celebi in this style, or its canon style, will be a violation of Upload Policy, Section 2.7 when the update goes live on July 1st."

Starting 26th-27th (A week and half from the moment of posting this journal), I will begin removing my NSFW submissions from this place. All of them. While I understand some of them will not violate the new rule, the lack of specifics presented by the staff along with some points made by multiple artists before me led to a conclusion that it will be safer to get rid of everything instead of being picky and trying to guess what's ok and what isn't. I will be saving whole pages for myself to persevere the memories of friendships I've made here. I guess an important thing to note is that a lot of my older artwork is not present on any other site. I'm a niche artist and not exactly skilled nor popular enough to have the privilige of having my artwork reposted on who knows what galleries, so it will hurt having to destroy this tiny insignificant legacy I've had.

I will however not leave. I will continue uploading SFW works here, as rare as they are. I enjoy drawing lewd stuff. I've made friends here I don't have contact with anywhere else. I follow artists here who do not draw anything FA is criminalizing (at least at time of writing). I want to continue these relationships and continue enjoying the art.

Almost everything posted here is posted there with the exception of comics because I don't have the japanese language learned enough to properly and correctly translate things. Of course there are censor bars put on everything to follow Pixiv's rules. I don't mind that.
SoFurry - https://arti4000.sofurry.com - SoFurry has been my 2nd most updated site, albeit I was more picky what went there. You could say I considered it my "greatest hits" and I periodically would upload a few pics there. I will attempt to increase my activity there soon.

Itaku - https://itaku.ee/profile/arti4000 - Created it but also didn't set it up fully. No art posted either (I don't know how to go about doing it. Post old shit? Select a few? Post only new stuff from now on?). It seems to be taking off due to many artists from here opening their accounts so I might try it as well.
FurryNetwork - https://furrynetwork.com/arti/ - Created long ago, set up, didn't post. Might start. Dunno. A big issue for me is keeping up with so many pages at once lol. I feel like posting the same pic to like 6 pages is spamming the internet considering a lot of the places have almost exactly the same people so getting a fav or equivalent on all the pages from the same person feels kinda repetitive.
Baraag - https://baraag.net/@Arti4000 - I created one but holy shit I have a LOT to set up there. There's a lot of keywords I'm NOT interested in seeing. Baraag seems to offer a lot of freedom and while it is admirable, I do not wish to see some extreme fetishes or... other things. So I have to do some work blacklisting stuff before I start uploading there too.
Inkbunny - https://inkbunny.net/Arti - I will be honest here. I have some gripes with IB and surprisingly they're not connected to the uploaded content - not entirely at least. I've voiced my opinion on this recently so a tl;dr: Not a fan of "Popular Submissions" being the first thing on the main page, nor the fact an artist can appear on there multiple times at the same time. There is also the current issue of people being called unpleasant things thanks to FA's new rules, and migrating to IB would be a "HA TOLD YOU SO". None of my characters are cubs. Nothing I draw is cub. I never portrayed any minor in nsfw situations. The characters were always consenting adults. FA doesn't understand that, and I do not wish to be branded something I'm not by going back to IB for now. Note - I have NOTHING against artists who post there, or the art they post. I know it is only art and doesn't harm actual people or creatures. I'm just afraid of how easy it is to destroy a person online by throwing random accusations. I did use the site in the past and I do have only positive experiences, but the internet is changing, and I do not think it's for the better so I will be cautious about my steps.

All in all, this is an unpleasant situation. I try to be understanding but the puzzle pieces do not seem to fit in any way. I know who I am and I know what I draw and I refuse to be told otherwise. I know I draw slow. I know I draw badly. I really do try when I draw though. FA has been good to me for these many years and it sucks that I will have to axe so many good memories from here. I will keep them as saved files somewhere on my drive though.

TL;DR: Deleting all porn around 26-27th. Will continue using FA but only for safe work. Save what you want. Or don't and forget I existed. Other sites I use written down. I guess note me if you want something else?
