They also have a Customer Service team to help with certain issues, and depending on the type of account you have: offer different types of Features, including Shopping on different Websites.
These Functions, and the level of work they do Have Costs, so Paypal takes a (Often small) Fee from their Transactions, this is a way of getting paid, which they use to keep such a Business afloat, and to pay their Employees.
