Dentist appointment went well I didn't cracked a tooth and no cavities. I have to say it makes me very nervous sitting in the dentist chair. Last time I went I was 14 and around that time sonic cleanings where in vogue, the technician didn't seem to think me failing my legs was a sign to stop and for what felt like nearly a half hour I though I was Dustin Hoffman getting the Marathon Man treatment.
And with that I'm going to enjoy some much needed time off after working 3 weeks straight. Traded weekends with a coworker so I could head up to Furry Fiesta that weekend in Feb. Anyway I want to wish everyone traveling this holiday safe travels and Happy holidays to you and your families.
Special hugs and wishes to three good friends that have recently lost someone very close. Just letting ya'll know your in my thoughts and prayers guys. *hugs* Have a safe weekend everyone.

I've had 8 root canals, at least as many fillings (they always precede the root canals), plenty of cleanings. And wisdom teeth pulled.
Worst? Wisdom teeth, the last one was impacted fairly big time.
2nd worst? Hmm, a certain cavity fill - novacaine wore off or was underadministered (Marathon Man...)
Runners up? Mostly cavity fills - when those novacaine shots wear off, OUCH!
Buuut... Today's dentists know how to administer the novacaine in a lot more painless fashion, plus can offer nitrous. Between the two, it can be a lot less painful to visit them.
It makes best sense to do regular hygiene, BUT THAT DOESN'T TRUMP THE ANNUAL CHECKUPS. Tartar buildup is a product of today's lifestyle, unless you're a vegan and eat only organic.
Yeah, beef is good, but we try to have fish a lot here because of the omega-3 we're trying to increase in our diet lately because of the cholesterol levels mom and I have, not to mention our triglycerides, which are the real out-of-control numbers.
