I was let go on Monday from my job. The reason wasn't anything to do with being bad at the job; the business wasn't making enough money and I was let go. Of course, it was quite a shock there weren't any warnings, and in order to get a bit of extra money was forced to sign a resignation letter.
Not going to let this get me feeling down. Been out to several other places to drop off resumes. Did get one interview but it's a bit early to see how I feel on that one since I really wasn't given an answer on what position I would be at. Tomorrow I'll be out to visit a few more places and hopefully get an answer soon.

I'm sorry to hear about it, either way! Are you looking into staying in the same field?
Unemployment insurance is costly...I can attest to that one.
