It's the end of Canada Day, 2023
There will be no Canada Day fireworks in the National Capital Region this year because of the smoke coming down from the fires up North.
South of my home there's a great big wooded municipal park (with a small lake) and they're having a party there. There's the big BOOM BOOM BOOM of amplified dance music coming over the trees. However, the notes are not getting through.
