Looking for an artist

It has been a long time since I have posted anything.
It has taken a lot to get me where I am today. 8 months ago I left my job after enduring 3 years of emotional abuse by some co-workers. I decided to go public with being Trans. After I walked off the job I was contacted by the company and offered a position in another town across country. I relocated 6 months ago and while it is not easy I am enjoying life a lot more than I used to.
My writing has started to come on in leaps and bounds, so much so that I have written several stories that I want to turn into children's picture books which is the reason for this journal entry. I am looking for an artist to work with on this project. I have no idea where or how to go about doing this. My goal is to self publish on Amazon in an e-book format.
I have tried to do the artwork myself but i am terrible.
