Deleting Animal Crossing/ Aggretsuko/Others for TOS
2 years ago
I got my trouble ticket back today and the news is not good.
It seems that most of my animal crossing content, including works some of my favourite works featuring Isabelle go against the TOS.
This also applies to pretty much all the Aggretsuko pics I 've done. RIP Fenneko.
A few other Rule 34 pics, notably one featuring the mouse from click bait company Chef's Club, will also be deleted.
I was also asked to delete a commissioned work featuring size difference.
On a nicer note, most of my OCs included some of the smaller ones like these two

seem to be acceptable under the new rules. So that's nice.
There may be more deletions coming in the future, as FA Staff did not specify if the examples they gave were the only violations or if I should use my own judgment and delete any other related pictures. I've reached out for clarification on this and will be deleting works as needed.
FA has been my main archive since 2016, so it is disheartening to have to delete work from here. I will be on the lookout for some new places to post a more thorough archive in the future, though I am unsure of where or when that will be. In the mean time, though it isn't my favourite site, the next most complete collection of my work is likely e621, my tag on there is newd (it's a little disorganized as not all of it was uploaded by me, so do not expect chronological order). I'll try to make a set or something on there for those of you that might be looking for examples of what is not allowed.
I would personally like to say that I did not create these works with any unsavoury intent. All of these were intended to be adult characters drawn in a style that was similar to their on model appearance in their original works.

These rule changes are absurd and I don't vibe with missing out on content because of them.
In case you didn't know, you can move your gallery really easily by combining this mass download tool with PostyBirb!
I hope you're at least backing things up on e6, it's great as an archive site.
I've tried to keep most of my non commissioned work backed up on e6. I know some people don't like having their characters on e6 so I've avoided putting commissioned stuff on there.
I have also uploaded a decent chunk of my work to newgrounds, which has been a better archive experience than expected.
And the administration nixing your Issy pics is just SO ridiculous. I don't believe that anyone has ever mistaken them for cub pics. The idea never even would have even crossed my mind. And BTW, those pics are some of my favorite Issy pics of all time.
This whole thing is just a loss for everyone here and the whole fandom, aside from giving a significant boost to competing sites, which may not be a bad thing, ultimately.
I've gone to Weasyl, but I haven't done much there yet. I'll probably try Itaku, too
Let me know how Weasyl works out for you, it's been one of the sites that's gone under my radar, if your experience is positive I'd definitely give it a shot.
glad the stuff is on e6!
I'm glad I'm not alone in thinking this situation is dumb.
I find that odd, as every character in there has a job, and is very adult. Don't understand the new rules, apparently. I mean, an adult character is not a child?
I mean the entire definition of chibi is big heads smol bodies.
Really curious to get my ticket replied to, wonder what random shit they're going to label a "kid" with me.
As for other sites, Itaku is gaining popularity and Inkbunny is pretty easy to use should you not mind most of the content being what FA is trying to take down.
