IB at least has a decent blacklist system so it's fairly easy to avoid the stuff that you're not into while you're there. And Itaku seems to be fairly promising at least!

It was several years ago, tons of people jumped on this new site called Weasyl as an FA alternative and it seemed like the momentum for it was huge. Then it just slowly died off as people weren't really commenting or faving, and artists stopped bothering to crosspost there.

The ones I feel promising for art for me is Itaku and Cohost. Itaku continues growing and have officially reached over 100k people joining it. Cohost actually feels like a successor to Tumblr from what I seen. I just really missed the functionality that Tumblr has, especially when it came to art so Cohost definitely caught my attention.
