Anyone else thinking this about dating?

This iz the top part of this particular Journal.
I've been wondering if anybody else also feels this way
Are ya'll also so done with trying to date? Seeing how past relationships went horrible, or when you talk to someone new and all their looking for is casual hook up only to be dumped when you want more
For me, it's gotten to a point where I will not believe anyone trying to flirt with me
As if I know the only thing they will do is leave as soon as anything more would try to form
Honestly for me, I'm just done trying to date, I'm not gonna look for anything, nor will I consider trying to go out and meet anyone again
Friendships are now as far as I trust to take things with around new people
I know it's not fun nor mentally healthy to just give up entirely, but what choice is there?

Most of my relationships never been longer than 6 months, with quite a few being pretty toxic.
Like blaming me that I would cheat one day, or from the first few texts hearing that I don't have a choice but to date this one person, not feeling safe to express my thoughs and feeling within the relationship
Or even most recently what made me completely rethink dating was where I was talking to a guy for about 6 months, which seemed to go somewhere, only to have a talk about what both of us wanted where he told me "I saw where it was going to but I'm not looking to be in a relationship"
All that does make me think that it's not worth the effort
Even if it could certainly be fantastic
