I don't know if Iger even has the authority to sell Disney. But then Again, Apple has more money than God and buying Disney would be nothing to Apple.

He doesn't have the Authority but at the moment if Vanguard and Black Rock wish to get a return to their investment.

Disney is losing billions in theaters and their park attendance are crashing which shows that the masses are ignoring Disney at an alarming rate.
