I am an animator, and this site doesn't support video

Really, even with the 10mb file size limit I could upload some shitty SD quality videos at least. They need to get on that shit.
All I can do is upload screenshots.

It has so far let us upload our demo video of Anita Fruit Punch video.
this place is super outdated in so many aspects
Not that it'd be as easy as screenshots, or as satisfying as uploading video, but maybe you could upload some animated gif-clips instead of screenshots? I mean, they wouldn't be as amazing as your videos nor have the soundtrack, but people could see the fluidity of your animation at least.
The entirety of FA is served using CloudFlare (primarily for DDoS protection, and improved performance).
CloudFlare does not allow streaming video files on any of their product plans (except Stream product) - it's a violation of their Terms of Service. I'm aware of this because it happened to me. Videos I'd host for people slowly got replaced with CloudFlare stating the video can't be played because it is against their rules.
If FA wanted to add video support, they'd have to use CloudFlare Stream. It would cost FA for every minute per stream of a video, and the storage costs for per minute of video. It would become very expensive quickly. It means any video files are stored at CloudFlare, rather than FA.
Alternatively, FA can stream videos without the need of CloudFlare in-between. Content would stream directly from FA's servers - but there's a downside to this. It exposes their public IPs, which is what causes attacks to become frequent, and the cost of bandwidth would be very high. Plus, the location of the servers would determine how quickly that content can be served to end-users. If you're in Europe for example, and FA servers are in America, you could be waiting a while for a video to buffer.
FA have made plans to introduce video uploads back in March 2022: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10158548/ by stating their intent to save up about $24,000 to buy servers with enough capacity to support 5 years worth of video files. How much money they've accumulated so far for this feature hasn't been disclosed.
Long story short: FA knows people want this following the death of Flash Player. They just need to look for a budget-friendly option that doesn't compromise the platform and increases the risk of disruption.
But, regardless, CloudFlare would forbid it.
FA dev team is actively finding a solution though.
But that doesn't matter, because Cloudflare allows streaming: https://www.cloudflare.com/products.....dflare-stream/
