Room of Angel_________________________________________________________I've been mulling over this a long time...
I watch what would be considered 'baby shows' meaning they are mostly for younger generations to watch. I've been scrutinized by my immediate family for watching shows such as 'The Backyardigans', 'Ni Hao, Kai-lan' [I dont typically watch that but I do catch it from time to time], 'The Upside Down Show' and quite a few more but to list them all here would take attention from the purpose of this journal... At length I watch these shows and at the worst times I'm bashed for doing so at the best times people see what I see and find comfort in watching the programs or at least seeing them.
The bashing has come to a slowdown to almost a halt. I've mulled over this for ages and yet have always come back to the same response:
Q:Why do I watch these shows?
A:It shows an almost absolute innocence. No one yells in the houses in a good lot of the shows. There is little to not hate or violence... I guess in a sense I seek some escape in their worlds. Where normality can sometimes be abnormality.
...
Shows like 'Max and Ruby', 'Toot and Puddle', 'Jackers! The Adventures of Piggly Winks', and to some extent 'The Upside Down Show' remind me of my home up north in Hannibal.
Well thats all for this speculation.
