I dont know if this is a good idea since this is one of th efew places where people can actually just a see a gallery of your work. Twitter is kind of terrible for that, JEC. This is an easy place to find your work

Agreed. Ever since Twitter blue and the recent rebranding and new tweet view count debacle, Twitter is an even less viable option as an art platform. I wouldn't recommend Twitter on those two reasons alone.

I wish you would reconsider. Twitter is bad and now worse than ever. DA is a crappy place too.

maybe instead of deleting you could leave a journal up saying where to find you and that you will no longer be logging in? This serves as a nice gallery and sometime it's fun to go through old favourites, I'm always bummed when I look through mine and stuff has been deleted ):

I will never understand the idea of an artist completely deleting their entire gallery just because they want to go to another platform or they're bored with their character or other such reasons. Hate toward the site itself or the staff and you just want to give them the middle finger? Okay, I can understand that a bit more. But if your watchers are people that hate social media networks/platforms and/or the only other places the artist can be found are raging cesspools, then you're leaving a good chunk of followers and potential income hanging by the roadside.

If nothing else, leaving the existing gallery open allows those still on that particular platform to continue to find you on said platform which can lead to more potential followers and/or customers.

I have... very mixed feelings about this, considering I jumped ship from dA a long time ago and Twitter is just crumbling day after day to the point of being beyond recognition (as well as continuously artist-unfriendly). You and a small handful of other recognizable faces being here is what ultimately compelled me to plant my roots here anew, after all...
I don't want to say I'm unsupportive of this decision because maybe that would be cruel of me, but I would also be lying to myself if I simply said "Go for it, take care".
Either way, I do wish you well in whatever you feel is best. That remains consistent on my part. I still care, and the ultimate priority is to do what is best for you.

For _{^{(* reasons *)}} I can't get onto Twitter or whatever they call it this week. My Patreon budget is maxed out and I HATE the abuser interference interface on Picarto. DeviantART will only allow you to post the nicey-nice stuff. Frankly, judging from the comments above, you're leaving a sizable chunk of your watchers behind.

Will miss you. For me this is the best place to see all of your work in one place
