As much as an Ai cesspit DeviantArt is now I kept my account there just out of mild curiosity as to how much worse it gets but when seeing none stop hardcore AI porn (and laughably bad AI at that) on the home page and pretty much seeing nothing genuine I've finally decided to end my 15 year old account and boy when I clicked that deactivate button it feels like I fianlly got rid of a real nasty itch.
Fuck AI art and people who support it.

It's a fun toy and a useful tool, nothing more. Especially for reference-pics and concept-art that can be improved upon by flesh-and-blood illustrators, Who Are Not Being Replaced By AI Art.
By the way, good news on that front... the WGA/SAG-AFTRA strikes are making headway. The other reason AI art will never replace human beings? Machines can't unionize, and Hollywood Is A Union Town.
Basically, you found a permanent solution to a temporary "problem" that will go away as soon as the Silicon Valley tech-bros realize to their horror that all-day suckers with more money than good sense are in woefully short supply... just like with Google Glass, crypto-currency and NFTs.
AI art is good when it's good, useful when it's useful, and bad when it's bad. Get over it.
