I've heard people refer to the "summer slump" when online views drop across platforms. do to people being on vacation, or working a summer job. That might be what's affecting you.

Speaking personally, I've not been spending much time lately poking artists for new work because its summertime in the Northern Hemisphere and I've been out on vacation or day trips or generally away from the computer. It will pick up again once folks start getting settled into the autumn school/work routine again. Hang in there!

You are on my list of Artists i want art from, i dunno when or what i'll get from you, still figuring that out although i tend to just give artist freedom at that point hoping my character inspires the artist.

The summer does slow down abit, as most people are out and about and not at home.
For me i have a dis-like for using boosty.
Also this is tied into the fact i feel really guilty and bad for ordering artwork and indirectly somewhat supporting a war, when the person pays bills and such a portion goes to the government. I dunno.. it's a tough and put me in a difficult mindset as i know people are trying to get by and such but then i think about all the suffering happening and im here getting Artwork of lewds or something. It just makes me feel really bad inside... and comflicted. I hope you understand what i mean.

Me getting art has dropped off alot because of that. Every now and then i do get a piece but compared to i think a year and abit ago i only get a piece every now and then.

Also depends massively on the cost too. If i wanted high end amazing looking pieces i would look for something like you :D

But most the stuff i get is simple cartoonish looking and comparing prices to yours is just more cheaper for other artists i go for.

Then there is building a bonding, i've grown attached to afew other artists because we chat and hang out and they've been nice so i tend to go back to them more. You more of a unknown to me at the moment. and im a super shy person so i normally keep to myself ^^"

1) Thank you, I'm glad to hear that! When you find an idea, I will be happy to take your order. Or I can help you and we come up with something together. I'm not against artistic freedom either.
2) Summer.. Do people go outside in the heat? Madness :D It's hard for me to understand this because most of the time I lead my life as a hikkikomori.
3) I don't use Boosty. More precisely, I use it only as a replacement for Patreon. Not for payments. For payment I use EasyStart. And it's not a ru company. And by the way, Boosty is also not registered in russia, so I doubt very much that their taxes go here.
4) Apologies in advance if this sounds suffocating and I'm very sorry you feel like that. But. When we shop for coffee, avocados, bananas, EVEN CLOTHES like jeans and T-shirts, and other things that are shipped from poor countries, we are sponsoring in a sense slave or very poorly paid hard labor. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer. Those in power unleash wars whenever they want. They don't care about poor workers in China, India, Vietnam, anywhere else. People for them are meat. Resource. But does that mean we should stop? Let people in poor countries not get paid at all? It's all terrible for sure, but this is how our world works and there is NOTHING you can do about it. You pay taxes in your country (of course, I don’t know where you live, but still), but some of them go to the military and to weapons. See what I'm getting at? Even if I didn’t draw pictures for foreigners, but worked at a local job, I would still go to the store and pay the tax that exists there, which potentially goes to war, into the pocket of corrupt officials, etc. If you think about it too much, your brain cells will die. Or your humanity. The second is probably faster.
First of all, you pay the ARTIST. For their HONEST work. Who doesn't kill ANYONE. Think about it from this more light side. And maybe you'll feel a little better..

5) I'll tell you a secret, but in fact publicly. I'm sick of realism. This is a great challenge when I'm in a resource and I need to upgrade my skills. But for the most part, it's a boring routine that kills me. I LOVE cartoonish stuff. I am very happy with these orders. And I have directly proportional discounts for cartoonish works. In any case, the complexity and price of such work is estimated upon the fact of the order. I can make simple drawings, sketches that do not require many hours of diligent work. And their price will be an order of magnitude lower than complex rendered things.
If you're interested, I'm currently working on some interesting cartoonish work but with complex rendering, you can write to me and I'll send it to you as an example of what else I can do. There are no similar examples in my gallery yet.

6) The fate of no-name is hard.. lol. But at least you can check the reviews of my work (https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9892175/) People like the way I work, as far as I can see. I can't say it for myself because you have all rights to not believe me. In addition, I'm currently going through a difficult time, because of which my productivity has decreased quite a lot (but not the quality). But I always try to do my job with full responsibility.

1) Awesome i do have afew ideas i can run by, i think i like the idea of presenting my character and see what idea you come up with or the vibe you get and see if it aligns and work from there could be something cool!

4) It's all good, everyones thoughts and opinions matter to me so it's good to get insight, and you are generally right about everything it's just a tough spot as its makes me feel alittle conflicted which is suppose is normal and human.

Well im more than happy to go down a route your comfortable doing. Because for me when i commission and artist, first and foremost i want to make sure they enjoying the drawing and are having fun so they have alot of free will to do what they want. So im more than happy to go with whatevver vibe your feeling with ^^
Sure send these examples im more than happy to see you creative process and everything. i do love the process from sketch to finished, i watch art streams lol. Also helps me vibe with an idea that might work for you.

Yeah! i like when people come to me with ideas for my characters even artists. actually comm'd afew when some have said hey i've drawn you character before i thin kit's look sweet doing this and this or i was gonna do a YCH but was wondering if you want to dive in instead for a commission etc.

1) Believe me or not, but I can boast of my ability to guess with what the customer wants to see x33 I can get quite a lot of inspiration from even a simple and not too detailed idea.
2) I'm a fan of autumn and winter. Our winters are very snowy, I love it. And those golden leaves in autumn..ah..
3) Boosty is.. problematic х__х" Bunch of bugs. I don't like it either. EasyStart is a very convenient service. I've been using it for almost a year, there are constant updates and improvements, the service is developing with the influx of a large number of new users. You need to pay there with a bank card, which is of course not very convenient for those who are used to PayPal. But if you pay by card, then this is done conditionally in 2 clicks and I instantly receive payment.

I'm late in replying but have been avoiding the internet for a while.

Regarding commissions, you are one of my favorite artists here and on my top list to support when I can. My main reason for not commissioning more is because you already have a big project for me going, and I do not want too many commissions going at the same time so I can keep track. Not my intent to rush you, btw, I can wait and look forward to the result, no matter when.
Another reason is that I also have a budget and can only spend on extras every now and then. Priorities need to be made and art is currently not one of them.
So, in short, you still got my support. I do not mind your prices, btw, I think they are justified with the quality you provide.
