I didn't think you did commissions.
what was being offered for the prices you asked IF you were streaming?
But telling yourself you're going to succeed or fail is a huge step to achieving that aspiration.
I don't think people have to pay to stream, and since folks enjoy your art, it's likely they'll enjoy watching you draw. I presume streams make money by drawing in folks who want commissions, not so much tips while you draw.
It kinda sounds like you're worried about becoming even slightly successful and losing your self-imposed loser narrative.
You're drawing anyway, so all you're changing is that you're giving folks the chance to come and watch, and potentially encourage you.
If nobody comes at first, you're drawing anyway - so you've lost nothing. Someone comes and asks you to draw their shiny chocolate wombat pulling power chords on a spiky electric guitar, you pull up some photos, ask for a reference, and set to. If I found you drawing online, and I had some cash, I'd certainly ask you to have a go at my badger sorceror.
I don't see the downside, unless you're not drawing regularly anyway. You don't need to do it with the sole idea of becoming popular - do it for company and to share your processes and for a bit of advertising and the chance for some random commissions.
Seems to me that the only way to lose in this, with your existing skills, is not even to try.
