Yo, this is literally just a moment where I'm gonna vent about my broken vents har har. My AC for the past few years has always struggled to keep my place cool, and occasionally would freeze over here and there, but I am born and raised in Atlanta so heat isn't really too big of a deal for me. Fuck I literally spent an entire summer in Alabama without using any AC at all because we were broke college kids and wanted to save money. But this month it finally just kicked the bucket. It was consistently freezing over and over and over again, and the AC line running outside froze so bad it basically exploded.

So I get an HVAC tech to come take a look and he sits me down and says that my system is so fucking old that the freon it uses isn't even manufactured anymore. It's a total replacement. Over the next week he has to do fucking research due to how fucking old this thing is and how to replace it and fit it into my current system, which, oh yeah, whoever wired up my house was apparently on drugs because when he looked at how the breakers were done up he literally told me "yeah this isn't how anything should be wired when it comes to the AC." So on top of replacing the entire HVAC system, I need to have my breaker panel reconfigured. And all of this rang up to a bill of a cool ten-fucking-thousand dollars.

10 fucking grand.

Now I'm very thankful that I can afford this without having to take out any loans or making payments on it, but fuck me, that's a chunk of change, especially when considering I also had to replace the fucking hot water heater less than a month ago.

Gork and Mork damnit I just fucking hope this is the last set of major repairs I'll have to do for a good fucking while.
