Blisteringly hot. Go out midday and you'll die (probably) . I stay inside, while my rib injury heals. 8 weeks and still in pain. Reallly want to get back to work.

I know the feeling. It was too damn hot till yesterday, sun literally melted stuff. Meh, ribs never stand stand still, takes ages to heal.

I feel it. I've been getting pissy because it's been raining every weekend for the last month, but during week days it's been perfectly sunny... which completely destroys any chance of me doing stuff out and about on my days off.

July was rainy, grey and miserable. August is looking sunnier but windy still.

In other news, it's totally common here to have it rain on one side of your property and not the other.

Staycation starts next week. Totally going to sleep for a week.

Staycation are much underrated. I love being able to enjoy my balcony, much more then getting lost in some crouded random place with other tourists.

It's currently 109F outside...

Some large wildfires in my part of the world. One is just south of the City I'm in, but, it's not a direct threat. Two fires (one one each side of a large lake) about an hour east of where I am do pose something of a threat to residences, the one on the east side has burned down to properties (but not destroyed any at this point in time), is more concerning as the only access is by ferry (about 10 vehicles) or by personal boat.

I'm more than certain the company truck I drive is cursed.... Everything from the the transmission packing it in (has been rebuilt AGAIN), to batteries (truck and "camper") randomly going flat to the rear hose (I, along with my closet fur helper, apply liquid fertilizer and weed killer to residential lawns, as well as those of a few businesses) constantly losing pressure. I have a workaround for that though, by cleaning the filter for that hose every couple of hours.

XD Probably that kind of truck wasn't projected so well. But, yeah, we can call it "cursed", it's much more poetic and gives that fresh scary feeling when you drive.
On a random note, you could print a sort of stylish "cursed truck " sticker and put it somewhere on the truck XD
