I recently got my first house, my partner & I were blindsided by the taxes after the house seller made a mistake and our savings were drained. We would had been fine however my 4 month old kitten Ryoko recently got suddenly ill and had to be hospitalized for a few days and we were hit with an almost 2 grand bill. We were able to pay it partially and she is fine now (kittens sometimes apparently randomly can get sick sometimes according to our vet with no direct cause or disease, they thankfully couldn’t find anything wrong except that she was dehydrated and lost weight from throwing up. Ax and I suspect due to the move and everything she was under stress). We also in the same day had one of the tires on our only car blowout and discovered we have a mouse issue in our new home so we need an exterminator to come and get them out. So yeah…lots of bad/costly stuff going on at once. 😓
