Future of Commissions
The next opening will likely be the last for a long while as I take an indefinite haitus from commission work. There are a few reasons for this:
*I don’t have enough time and energy to devote to it regularly anymore. I work full-time and art is no longer my primary income. On the bright side, that does mean prices are unlikely to change between openings.
* My completion times are now far longer than I’m personally comfortable with. I know many of you are actually okay with longer waits, but it’s rather difficult for me to keep up the drive to work on projects that I keep having to take long breaks from.
*I want to do more personal projects. I just can’t relax enough to do personal work and style experiments when I know I have paid work I should be doing. You’ve all been wonderful and very patient commissioners and I want to say thank you for that. It kept me going for years but I don’t want to burn out from ignoring personal stuff.
To any of you that I already have prior arrangements with, don’t worry even if you don’t grab a slot this time around. I haven’t forgot about you guys and will be happy to work something out even if not immediately.
TL;DR
I’m taking an extended break from commission work. I’m not quitting comms forever, but openings will be sporadic.

Yay.
Art should be about personal expression primarily, anyways. Others can interject and suggest and inspire, but the best art comes from the times we're inspired, not the times it's "work".
Besides that I of course wish you all the best for your future and future projects, so you don't get burned out. Will be looking forward to it :3
