Honestly I think some people have trouble taking politics seriously from people who openly produce fetish content regardless of the fetish. Like Ive noticed a lot of mockery (some of it definitely deserved) directed at babyfurs who make political statements

Yeah. From my experience, most folks have a "I pay attention for the art/fetish stuff, not your personality or opinion" take on my stuff.

It just seems that a lot of folks that interact with me past that level tend to be wildly different than me on several spectrums, and I'm still dumbfounded by that.

It's a strange phenomenon that I've encountered personally. It has lead me into a very close but, at times, very challenging friendship with one person in particular

I've had people note me about not liking me voicing my opinions before, and saying that they just want to see the art without any socio-political stuff. And yeah, I should stand up for myself, but I think I'll keep those thoughts on places like Twitter instead of putting them on my art sites.

They're villains in Rudoji's story, at the very least, yeah ;3

Personally I’m relieved to have the handful of people into casting (out of the slightly larger handful) who I feel I could have a conversation with and not have wide gulfs of disagreement on very basic ethical and political principles. Even though I’ve not yet had any of those said conversations :p
…and I’m not sure if I’d take 100% stock in the opinions of unsolicited private messengers, maybe some are thoughtful criticism, but I’d bet that more aren’t.

Probably right about the anons. But when they're a lot of my audience, it's all I can see sometimes.
