I've been feeling the same general way about this site for a while. Admittedly, it's gotten so bad here and other places I've been trying to think of a new site or two to create.

It's the sad reality of this site, unfortunately. I've had staff delete stuff out of my gallery before when I was a regular poster of work I've commissioned. They don't train staff members in a uniform manner and even if they do, a handful of staff do tend to approach a number of situations with their one bias instead of remaining neutral.

I've followed your work for far longer than I'm willing to admit but it's completely within your reason and right to drop this place in favor of other places. Weasyl is pretty much the next-best alternative since twitter / X is turning into an AI/NFT techbro hellscape like Deviantart has become. Hopefully you find a better place that will respect your work as-is.

I see it everywhere all the time, I'm sick of it myself, it's almost unreal at this point. I still remember back when you made a new account to remove a word from your old username because it offended some people... still wish you didn't, those kinds of people should get absolutely none of their demands met, they'll only have more next time. Screw everything this world has become.

I'm myself about to be left without an income because I refuse to let Patreon commit identity theft against me to a point that could even put me in danger. If I ever starve to death thanks to them, Patreon and Furaffinity are the two top services I hope to see shut down with my life... Youtube has been competing hard to top them but these two take cultism to a different level.

Anyways, really recommend using Inkbunny: It's not perfect and people had their issues there, but it treats everyone 100 times more decently than FA ever did. I'm watching everyone from FA there as part of my own migration, if you register and post there I'm surely going to give you a follow.

With their recent policy changes, literally anything can be against the site rules. Like literally anything: If your character looks too small because that's their anatomy, it's cub and offends Western Sharia Law... if you make a slightly politicized joke, it's hate speech and somehow an assault on trans people... now they literally tell you what Pokemon / Digimon evolutions you're allowed to make NSFW art of because the combat stats of the character in the game determine if that Pokemon could consent were it real It's equally fascinating and terrifying this site is still going and any of us are here any more... doing my best to move away but waiting for others to do so as well, for some reason many keep coming back for yet more suffering.

Some republicans used it, sure, but democrats are much more represented in technology and journalism and they're the ones spending all day on social media looking for stuff to have removed. A lot of the social movements in the past decade are very inorganic. There is big money behind them. What is referred to as "hate speech" or "misinformation" is defined and enforced by billionaires (Jack Dorsey, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, and many more). Billionaires love pushing this trend towards hyperindividualism. 2SLGBTQP+ or libertarianism, both of them are anti-collectivist which keeps the ordinary people fighting amongst each other instead of uniting against the billionaires.

There is also a special kind of dystopia called anarcho tyranny where, rather than use an outright authoritarian jackboot approach, some criminal elements are given free reign or even celebrated such that people are too focused on staying safe to organize against the system that is robbing them. I would like to point out a huge example of this in action, but it's against the CoC to talk about it. And this kind of self-censorship I'm practicing is the most insidious kind.
